On Feb. 8 the Indian River School District held a referendum to raise property taxes, and the people voted and the results (no tax increase) — the people have spoken.

The response from IRSD: We did not hear you, so let’s vote again.

If all election and referendum results were thrown aside because someone was not satisfied with the results and the will of the people, can you imagine the state of this democracy?

If you are reading this and agree, vote no on May 7 and send a clear message that can be understood.
