Glenn D. Hazel, 63, of Millsboro, Del., and Parkesburg, Pa., passed away on Tuesday Feb. 25, 2020. He was born July 2, 1956, at Taylor Hospital in Ridley Park, Pa., to the late Robert E. Hazel and Phyllis Wilson Hazel.

Hazel attended schools in both Pennsylvania and Delaware, including Cape Henlopen High School in Lewes, Del. He was a retired house painter, having worked in both Pennsylvania and Delaware. He loved music and was an awesome harmonica player, playing with numerous bands. Hazel also enjoyed many hobbies, including hunting, boating, fishing, crabbing and, many years ago, riding his Harley. He had a great sense of humor and could make anyone laugh. Hazel was devoted to his companion, Joyce.

Hazel is survived by his companion of 34 years, Joyce Wise of Millsboro and Parkesburg, Pa.; a brother, Robert J. Hazel Sr. and his wife, Mary Lou, of Rehoboth Beach, Del.; three stepsons, Curt Wise and his wife, Dee, of Parkesburg, Kevin Wise and his wife, Kimberly, of Millsboro, and Craig Wise and his companion, Kelly Phillips, of Bear, Del.; two nephews, Robert Hazel Jr. of Rehoboth Beach and Josiah Hazel of Wilmington, Del.; eight step-grandchildren, Danny, Kirsten, Aaron, Heather, Jonathon, Ashlyn, Logan and Riley; 10 step-great-grandchildren; two great-nephews, Robert Hazel III and Grady Hazel; many other step-nieces and step-nephews who loved him; and two kitties, Stinky and Missy; whom he greatly adored.

Hazel was loved by many and will certainly be missed by all who knew him. The family offered special thanks to both Fresenius Dialysis Center in Millsboro and to Beebe Healthcare for their excellent care over the last few years.
