Town of Fenwick Island buildings will be closed to the general public effective Monday, March 16. That includes Town Hall, the Public Works Building and the police station. According to the Town website, the town manager, in consultation with the mayor, will evaluate continued office closures as needed, and will determine when the buildings will reopen to the public.

The statement posted March 16 on the Town website reads “The Fenwick Island Police Department will continue to respond to calls. Contact the police officer on duty at 302-542-8793. In the event of an emergency, call 9-1-1.

“Everyone is encouraged to use the online payment portal on the Town’s website, www.fenwickisland.delaware.gov,  to make any payments. Payments may also be made by U.S. mail.

“Town staff will continue to work on site while offices remain closed to the public. If you have a question for a staff member, Town staff will be available at 302-539-3011 and through email.

“Essential in-person meetings with Town staff may be arranged by appointment. Please call or email the department you need to meet with to arrange an appointment time.
