The Bethany-Fenwick Chamber of Commerce announced on Monday, March 16, that it was making available resources to businesses impacted by the coronavirus pandemic.
Among those resources is the ability to request assistance through the Delaware Division of Small Business via its Economic Injury Declaration. The State of Delaware is requesting the submission of that form to try to begin to put grants and packages together to assist the state’s small businesses impacted by coronavirus.
Any business impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic should review the webpage at https://business.delaware.gov/2020/03/15/update-for-delaware-small-businesses-on-coronavirus/ and complete an Economic Disaster Injury Worksheet. Once completed, the sheet should be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org. The form ties into the SBA Disaster Assistance program.
Additionally, the U.S. Small Business Administration is offering designated states and territories low-interest federal disaster loans for working capital to small businesses suffering substantial economic injury as a result of the COVID-19 virus.
