Millville bank robbed Wednesday morning

Delaware State Police are investigating a bank robbery that occurred Wednesday morning, Dec. 29 at Artisans’ Bank, 35696 Atlantic Ave., in Millville. According to police reports, a male suspect entered the bank at about 10:40 a.m., approached a bank teller behind the counter and displayed a note demanding money. The bank teller complied and the suspect fled on foot, northbound across Atlantic Avenue (Route 26) with an undisclosed amount of cash. The suspect was described as a white male wearing a dark-colored jacket, with a mask and a ‘beanie’ hat. Police report that no one was injured during the incident and that no surveillance photographs were available as of Wednesday afternoon.
