Kathy Hessler caught a little something 'extra' crabby when pulling this crustacean out of the back bay in Fenwick Island this week. We're not sure whether crabs will eventually develop opposable thumbs, but a couple extra claws is a little worrisome already. (This phenomenon can reportedly happen when a crab loses a claw and during molting it regrows... but not quite normally. No word on whether they're 'extra' tasty this way — this guy was released back into the bay.)
