Public Notice

The Board of Adjustment of the Town of Bethany Beach will hold a public
meeting on Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at 10:00 am in the Bethany Beach Town
Hall, 214 Garfield Parkway in Bethany Beach, Delaware.

The purpose of the hearing is to consider the following:
An application for a variance, filed by property owner Jo Carroll Onoffrey
for the property identified as Tax map and parcel number
134-13.00-103.00, Block 33, Lot 5 857 Garfield Parkway, in the
R-2 Residential Zoning District. The applicant is seeking variances from
Chapter 425, Attachment 3, Appendix 3 Table of Dimensional
Requirements, Minimum Street Frontage for single dwelling unit buildings
in the R-2 Residential District. More specifically, the applicant is seeking
two variances, each to be 7.52 feet of frontage on Garfield Parkway for the
purpose of seeking further review by the Planning and Zoning Commission
of the Town of Bethany Beach for a proposed partitioning of the property
into two lots.
The application may be inspected in the office of the Building Inspector,
214 Garfield Parkway, Bethany Beach, Delaware, between the hours of
8:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, except scheduled Holidays.
All interested persons are hereby notified to be present and to attend this
hearing where said Board may make a determination on the application,
Said Board without further notice may adjourn such hearing from time to
time.
The Board may recess for good reason on the announced day and
reconvene on another day to continue the hearing; in such a case, the
announcement of the date and time of reconvening will constitute sufficient
public notice.
