Residents may register at town hall or request a mailed registration form by telephone, mail or by e-mail. The last day to register to vote in this year’s election is Aug. 9.
• The Bethany Beach Budget and Finance Committee will meet on Friday, July 27, at 2 p.m. at the town hall. Notification of the spraying was not previously given but has been instituted as the result of requests from residents.
• The Bethany Beach Cultural and Historical Affairs Committee is seeking individuals who are willing to volunteer as docents for the Bethany Beach Town Museum, located in the lobby of the Town Hall. Volunteers will have an opportunity to share information about Bethany Beach with those who visit the museum, as well as to perhaps learn some things about the town’s history. Those interested are being asked to donate two hours of their time, either Saturday or Sunday, once a month. Contact the town at (302) 539-8011 or e-mail admin@townofbethanybeach.com for further information.
