Fenwick comp plan work now under way

Soybean production up locally, statewide
After bleak numbers last year and despite dry late-summer weather, local and statewide production levels for soybeans are on the rise. Dagsboro readies to fill two council seats Dec. 2
Dagsboro voters will head to the polls next Saturday, Dec. 2, to choose who will fill two seats on the town council. Signage in Bethany Beach soon to change
In a Tuesday morning meeting on Nov. 14, the Bethany Beach Architectural Guideline Design Committee (AGDC) showed signs of cracking down on … well, signs. Results of the meeting may have local businesses making changes to the way they advertise to their customers in the future.

QRCF Caribbean party set for Dec. 2
Dressing up in Caribbean-style shirts, shorts and sandals is usually reserved for the summer or for trips to tropical destinations. But despite the recent onset of wintery weather, locals will gather in Bethany Beach on Dec. 2, wearing just those types of clothing, for the Quiet Resorts Charitable Foundation’s second annual Caribbean Christmas event.

No matter whom the No. 5 seeded Concord Raiders drew as opponents heading into the 2006 Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association state tournament, one thing was for certain: they were going to run the ball for better or worse.

Delmar knocks off Hodgson
After winning only one game over a team with a winning record during their ascension atop the Southern Henlopen Conference ranks this season, the Delmar Wildcats proved that they’re a legitimate Division II contender after dispatching the Hodgson Silver Eagles 27-12 behind timely passing by quarterback Alan Preston in the opening round of the Delaware Interscholastic Athletic Association state football tournament on Nov. 17.
