Kathleen Kollock, 90
Kathleen Kollock, 90, of Millsboro died Thursday, Aug. 31, 2006, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury, Md.
Kollock had been a real estate agent, member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, past president of the WSCS, and a very proud mother grandmother and great-grandmother who loved her family very much. She was also a member of the Bethel United Methodist Church, Dagsboro.
She is survived by her sons, Joseph Jr. and Connie Kollock, William and Zola Kollock; grandchildren, Joseph A. Kollock III and wife Lisa, James A. Kollock and wife Kim, Mia Turtle and husband Jesse; great- grandchildren Alaena, Kristina, Jason, Gunner, Colt and Brie Kollock; Zoe and Owen Turtle.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph A. Kollock Sr., in 2000; one brother, William B. Chandler Jr., and one great-grandson, Gage Kollock.
Funeral services were scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 3, 2006, at the Watson Funeral Home 211 Washington St. Millsboro with internment at Prince Georges Cemetery, Dagsboro, Delaware.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Bethel United Methodist Church PO box 147 Dagsboro, Delaware 19939.
Helen ‘Lou’ White, 62
Helen “Lou” White, 62, of Pittsville, Md., died Thursday, Aug. 31, 2006, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center, Salisbury, Md.
White was a yacht upholsterer for Maxum Marine and a co-owner, along with her husband, David, of the Pittsville Dinette. She enjoyed work, racing, collecting dolls and making candy.
She is survived by her husband, David A. White Sr., children, David “Bunky” White Jr., Tim and Debbie White, Kevin and Michelle White; brothers and their wives, Pete and Norma Lynch, Tob and Veronica Lynch, Roland and Mary Lynch; sister-in-law Mary Lynch; sister, Pat Shockley; grandchildren, David “Sparky” White and Trisha Townsend; Matt White and Amber, Brianna Reid, Danielle White, Torri White and Kristie Ward; and great-grandchild, Matt White Jr.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Hilda “Tootsie” and Bob Dorman.
Funeral services were scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2006, at Watson Funeral Home 211 Washington Street, Millsboro with internment at Pittsville Cemetery, Pittsville, Md.

Elbert B. Esham, 85
Elbert B. Eshamn, 85, of Bishopville, Md., died peacefully on Saturday, Sept. 2, 2006, at home.
Born in St. Martin’s Neck, he was the youngest son of Daniel W. Esham and Eva M. Brasure Esham. A devoted husband and father, he enjoyed working the family farms, raising chickens, hogs and, at one time, cattle, while tilling his crops. In his younger years, he had also been an avid hunter.
He is survived by his beloved wife of 61 years, Elizabeth V. Esham; daughters Sandra Mae Collins and her husband Lloyd, Debra Lynn Stavely and her husband David; grandsons, Christopher L. Collins and wife Tami, Ryan J. Collins and wife Denise; and great-grandsons Cody Collins and Caleb Collins.
Funeral services were scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 6, 2006, at Hastings Funeral Home, Selbyville with internment at Bishopville Cemetery.

Michael Tracey White, 39
Michael Tracey White, 39, of Salisbury, Md., died at Atlantic General Hospital on Sunday, Sept. 3, 2006. Born in Salisbury, White was known throughout the area as a professional musician, performing solo, or with saxophonist Joe Smooth or drummers Chuck de Martin or Joe Mama, or as the frontman for swing/rockabilly act Michael and the Little Professors.
White never had a “day job.” He worked his way through college at what is now Salisbury University by performing music and continued to perform regularly through Saturday, Sept. 2, 2006. Scheduled performances included several set for the week of his death in Ocean City and on the main stage at the upcoming Ocean City Sunfest 2006. His latest album, “Swingin’ Sounds for Now,” was due out this fall.
White’s memorial tune inspired by the death of NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt Sr., “Cold Day in Daytona,” sold more than 22,000 units internationally and peaked at No. 9 on the independent worldwide country chart in 2001. A portion of the profits from sales of the song were donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Throughout his career, White was lauded by such music legends as Peter Noone of Herman’s Hermits and composer/TV personality Steve Allen. White’s hobbies included writing music, surfing and collecting old records.
In addition to his parents, White is survived by his wife, Michelle, and son Noah. A viewing was set for Wednesday, Sept. 6, at Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury, with the funeral to be held on Thursday, Sept. 7, at St. Francis DeSales Catholic Church in Salisbury.
