Shaun E. Wilkerson, 16
Shaun E. Wilkerson, 16, of Millsboro, died Monday June 5, 2006.
Shaun attended Millsboro Wesleyan Church with his family. He loved basketball, baseball, fishing, cars, motorcycles and just riding. He had played baseball for the Millsboro Little League.
He is survived by his parents, Eddie and Cindy Wilkerson; grandparents, Ethel Mae Wilkerson, Chester B. Justice; one sister, Michelle Wilkerson and Chris Short; aunts and uncles, Donny and Billie Wilkerson, David and Beth Wilkerson, Geraldine and Boddy Carter, Joyce Lynch, Brenda and Sam Malcolmson and Bud Justice; a niece and nephew, Tory Nicole Messick and Ryan Taylor Wilkerson. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
Services were scheduled for Thursday, June 8, at Watson Funeral Home, 211 Washington Street, Millsboro.
Doris R. Fisher, 68
Doris R. Fisher, 68, of Gumboro, died on Friday June 2, 2006, in Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Md. Fisher was a retired supervisor at the Allen Family Foods Hatchery outside of Dagsboro.
She was an active member of the Gumboro Wesleyan Church.
She is survived by three sons, Jeff Fisher and his wife Lisa, Jay Fisher, and Eddie Fisher; two daughters, Carol Bowman, and Ann Tait and her husband, Mike; seven sisters, Ruth Foskey, Marilyn Tyndall, Mary Morris, Linda Gravenor, Brenda Collins, Bonnie Oliphant and Beverly Enos; three brothers, George Baker, Charles Baker and Elson Baker; and numerous brother- and sister-in-laws; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and her extended church family.
Funeral services were scheduled for Wednesday, June 7, at the Frankford Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, Thatcher St., Frankford, with interment at Bethel United Methodist Cemetery, Whitesville.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the Gumboro Wesleyan Church Building Fund, 36842 Millsboro Hwy., Millsboro, DE 19966.
Christina Lynne ‘Chrissie’ Callahan, 40
Christina Lynne “Chrissie” Callahan, 40, of Frankford, died on May 30, 2006.
Callahan attended Claymont High School and Weidner College. After a brief financial career, she relocated to Frankford, where she worked for Wawa food markets for eight years. She was a manager of the Millsboro Wawa.
She was a member of St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Church in Bethany Beach. She was an active member of the Frankford Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary and served as vice president. She was chairwoman of many fundraising and awareness committees.
She is survived by her beloved husband of 15 years, Leonard; her son, Timothy; two daughters, Mackenzie and Tallie; her mother, Lynne Alexander; and her father, Harold Alexander and wife Peggy; her mother- and father-in-law Pauletta and Ernest Callahan; her sister-in-law Chrissy and husband Victor Squillace and their children, Lisa, Billy, Angelina and Isabella; her maternal grandparents, Jeanne and John Szewczuk; her Uncle Thomas and wife Sharon Szewczuk, Aunt Kathy and husband Rusty Coryell and Aunt Jayne Plumley and husband Dave.
A Mass of Christian burial was scheduled for Friday, June 2, at Saint Ann’s Roman Catholic Church in Bethany Beach.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Christina Callahan Fund, PNC Bank, 104 Main Street, Millsboro, DE.
Brian Robbins Villalon, 46
Brian Robbins Villalon, 46, of Ocean City, Md., died on Monday, May 29, 2006 at home. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Ocean City and a graduate of Weidner College School of Hotel and Restaurant Management.
He is survived by his mother, Marian R. Villalon; one brother, Craig Villalon; two sisters, Helen Destrempes and Bonnie Williams; and five nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Edward G. Villalon.
A memorial service was scheduled to be held at a later date.
