Thaddeus J.‘Lump’ Stokley, 77
Thaddeus J. “Lump” Stokley, 77, of Millsboro, died Wednesday, March 15, at Beebe Medical Center. He was a carpenter for many years, working for several area contractors and a self-employed carpenter until his retirement in 1993.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War.
He is survived by his wife of six years, Pamela L. Tunnell Stokley; one son, Bernard Simmons; two daughters, Takisha Tunnell and Shawna Tunnell; a devoted niece, Revie Banks; several grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services were scheduled for noon on Monday, March 20, at Mt. Zion Holiness Church in Milton with internment at the Henlopen Memorial park in Milton.
Margaret H. Taylor, 81
Margaret H. Taylor, 81, of Selbyville, formerly of Baltimore, Md., died Wednesday, March 15, at home. She had been a comptroller with First National Bank for many years.
She was a member of St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Ocean City and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Post 8296, the Ocean City American Legion Ladies Auxiliary Unit 166 and the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, William L. Taylor. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Henry Horn.
Services were scheduled for Monday, March 20, at St. Luke’s Catholic Church in Ocean City, Md., with internment at Delaware Veterans Cemetery in Millsboro.
