Dagsboro council reviews a slew of items
Dagsboro Town Council reviewed a whole sheaf of plans at the April 25 council meeting, but took no action, other than to postpone on the “lands now or formerly of the Kollock Family Limited Partnership” subdivision. (Council Member Jamie Kollock abstained from that action.)

Indians get dramatic against Cape
Four games in six days isn’t a tough task for the newly No. 10 ranked Indian River varsity baseball team. The team pulled together to round out a five-game win streak, beating Cape Henlopen 5-4 in a dramatic seventh inning comeback.

Lady Indians pay back Cape in softball
The No. 3 Lady Indian’s varsity softball team has kept the ball rolling, winning their last seven and improving their record to 13-2 and 9-1 in the conference.

Boys put it together on courts against Cape
The Indian River varsity tennis team split two games to pull their record to 3-6 on the season. Every player got in the mix in the 4-1 victory against Cape Henlopen on April 27.

Golfers heating up with season
The Indian River varsity golf team picked up steam this week, winning two more matches to move to 7-4 on the season and boost themselves to sixth place in the Henlopen Conference, just behind the golfing elite.

Girls still kicking, but not moving up
The No. 10 Indian River girls’ varsity soccer team hasn’t budged from the state rankings since their arrival some weeks ago, despite dominant play, game-in and game-out.
