Lighthouse Restaurant reopens in Dewey Beach
The award-winning Lighthouse Restaurant at the Lighthouse Cove Resort complex in Dewey Beach reopened for the 2014 season on April 11, and representatives said Que Pasa Mexican Restaurant will open later this month, with a date to be announced soon. Meyer Jabara Hotels will assume operations of both the Lighthouse and Que Pasa restaurants, effective immediately, they noted.
“We are thrilled to expand Meyer Jabara’s role at Lighthouse Cove to our award-winning Lighthouse and Que Pasa restaurants, and we look forward to a stellar summer season serving our wonderful guests,” stated E. Thomas Harvey III, president of Dewey Beach Enterprises, which owns the Lighthouse Cove Resort.
Meyer Jabara Hotels, an award-winning hospitality company that owns and operates hotels in 13 states, has operated the new Hyatt Place Hotel in Dewey Beach since its grand opening in September 2013.
The Lighthouse Cove resort encompasses the Hyatt Place Hotel; penthouse and bayside residential condominiums; retail stores and restaurants; a future conference center; and an array of public amenities.
“The resort redevelopment project has created hundreds of construction and permanent jobs; and is helping Dewey Beach transition to a family-friendly 21st-century year-round resort,” representatives said.
