Katie Mae Holland, 6

Katie Mae Holland, 67, of Millsboro, Del., passed away Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2009, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes, Del. She worked at Showell Poultry Plant for 32 years. She was a member of Victory Pentecostal Church, Selbyville, Del. She loved taking care of her grandchildren, especially Ja’Heir “Peewee” Holland.

Holland was preceded in death by her son, Charles Holland. She is survived by three sons, James Edward Holland, of Millsboro, Leroy James Holland of Georgetown, Del., and George McCray of Wilmington, Del.; eight grandchildren, Ja’Heir “Peewee” Holland, Jakirra Holland, Jaevon Holland, Sanaya Holland, Jathias Morris, Mike Mitchell, Joaquin Holland and Juanite Morris.

A funeral service was scheduled for Monday, Feb. 16, 2009, with burial in Zoar Golden Acres Cemetery, Bishopville, Md.
