Cynthia Denise Johnson, 51

Cynthia Denise Johnson, 51, of Bishopville, Md., passed away Wednesday, Aug. 6, 2008, at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital, Philadelphia, Pa. She was a retail store clerk for many years, as well as a homemaker. She loved crossword puzzles, relaxing on the boardwalk, cooking and riding.

Johnson was preceded in death by her parents, Grover Spencer and Aline Johnson. She is survived by two sons, Nizar G. Johnson and wife, Ekaterina Shandina, of Lewes, Del., and Travis Johnson of Selbyville, Del.; three sisters, Joyce Silla of Washington, D.C., Brenda Wise of Selbyville and Cassandra Johnson of Lincoln, Del.; and many nieces, nephews, friends and her church family.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 15, 2008, at the Trinity Holiness Church, Delaware Avenue, Frankford, Del., where visitation will begin at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Zoar Golden Acres Cemetery in Bishopville, Md.
