Charles G. Scott Jr., 82, of Millsboro, Del., passed away Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2008, at Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, Del. He was a retired heavy equipment operator. A hard working man, he worked until he was 80 years old. He loved horses and loved to help people take care of them.
Scott was preceded in death by his parents, Charles G. and Fannie Scott Sr.; and several brothers and sisters. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Mildred T. Scott; a step-son, Lou Hall and his wife Judy of Millsboro; two grandchildren, Kevin and Curtis Hall; and two great-grandchildren, Kylee and McKenzie.
A memorial service was scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2008, at 1 p.m. at Watson Funeral Home, 211 Washington Street, Millsboro. Interment was private.
