BREAKING NEWS: Updated - Body found on beach near Rehoboth

Delaware State Police have identified the body of a man who was found on a beach near Rehoboth on Thursday. Troopers have identified the victim as Oliver Shockley, 34, of Milford.

Shockley's body appeared to have been washed up on the beach area south of Prospect Avenue, just south of the town limits of Rehoboth Beach and was located by a passerby on the beach just after 12:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 25, according to the DSP.

The Medical Examiner’s Officer ruled Shockley's cause of death accidental and the manner of his death to be drowning, but the case is still under investigation.
