Arthur James Fosque, 86, of Millsboro, Del., passed away Monday, Feb. 11, 2008, at Green Valley Terrace in Millsboro. He worked for Townsend’s Inc. in Millsboro for 23 years, retiring from the maintenance department as a janitor. He loved going to the beach and swimming, as well as race cars and taking care of his own cars.
Fosque was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary Satchell Fosque; two brothers; and two sisters. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Arinthia Savage Fosque; four sons, Leon Fosque of Millsboro, Arthur Fosque Jr. of Frankford, Richard T. Fosque of Millsboro and Charlie E. Fosque of Selbyville; two daughters, Shirley M. Jolley of Georgetown and Georgia A. Coverdale of Harrington; 11 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St. in Millsboro. Following the visitation, graveside services will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the St. John 2nd Baptist Church Cemetery, Mt. Joy Road, Millsboro.
