Ella B. Bauermeister, 95, of Ocean View, Del.,, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, Jan. 3, 2015.
She was a World War II veteran of the United States Navy.
Warren M. Dukes, 83, of Dagsboro, Del., passed away Jan. 5, 2015, at Atlantic Shores Rehabilitation and Health Center. Dukes was born in Frankford, Del., on March 17, 1931, to the late Horace J. Dukes and Edna Franklin Dukes.
Dukes was a retired carpenter. He was deeply loved by his family and will be greatly missed.
Scott Benjamin Bunting, 39, of Selbyville, Del., died Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015.
Bunting worked for A&A Air Services in Roxana, Del. He was an avid guitar player and gave guitar lessons. He was a member of the Music Academy in Waynesboro, Va., and also was a substitute schoolteacher in Waynesboro.
Sylwester Waclaw Dabrowski, 53, of Ocean City, Md., and formerly of Brooklyn, N.Y., died Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015, at home. He was born in Warsaw, Poland, son of Tadeusz Dabrowski and Elizabeth (Pawlicka) Dabrowski.
Dabrowski had been a chef at Harpoon Hanna’s near Fenwick Island, Del. He was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church in Ocean City, Md.
Bryan Kenneth Faulkner, 21, of Dover, Del., passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 9, 2015.
Faulkner loved being outdoors and working with his hands, as well as fishing, hunting and country music. He worked as a maintenance technician at an aircraft refurbishing facility.
Jane Germain, 89, of Ocean View, Del., formerly of Emmerson, N.J., passed away on Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014, at her home. She was born on May 19, 1925, in Philadelphia, Pa., the daughter of the late Chester Lincoln and Pauline Lincoln. Germain retired from the Grand Union Company in New Jersey, where she worked in the collection department.
Dorothy E. Habbart, 93, of Millsboro, Del., passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015. Habbart was born in Farmington, Del., on Oct. 11, 1921, to the late James Reed and Martha Downs Reed.
James Adam “Jamie” Kollock, 51, of Dagsboro, Del., passed away Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015. His death was due to choking on a piece of lobster, his favorite food. Unfortunately, he was home alone when it happened. Kollock was born June 13, 1963, in Salisbury, Md., to Joseph A. Kollock Jr., and his wife, Connie James Kollock, who survive him. He was the love of their life.
Andrew Ryan Logan, 25, of Georgetown, Del., passed away on Jan. 5, 2015. He was born Oct. 19, 1989, in Lewes, Del., to Kenneth “Satch” H. Logan and Maureen Drain Logan, who survives him.
Anna Butler Magsamen, 94, of Westminster, Md., formerly of Delaware, died peacefully on Wednesday morning, Jan. 7, 2015. Born Aug. 2, 1920, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Wilmer and Anna Butler.
Ruth Ann Mulligan, 62, of Millsboro, Del., passed away Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015, at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. She was born in Cincinnati, Ohio, daughter of the late Robert Joseph Tucker and Ruth Ann (Scheidt) Tucker.
Gregory Robert Peters, 64, of West Fenwick Island, Del., died Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014. He was born in Mt. Clemens, Mich., son of the late Robert Leo Peters and Ethel (Estep) Peters Hitchens.
Marietta B. “Wilda” Root, 91, of Lewes, Del., passed away peacefully Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Jan. 17, 1923, in Mount Storm, W.Va., daughter of the late Gerald Vausie and Uthea (Idleman) Bosley.
Michael Joseph “Mike” Wolanski, 68, of Newark and Millsboro, Del., died peacefully Jan. 6, 2015, in the presence of his two sons, Michael and David. He was born Dec. 23, 1946, in Tyrol, Austria, to Stella (Rudzik) Wolanski and Michael Wolanski. He was especially close to his mother. The family immigrated to the United States in 1949 and settled in Binghamton, N.Y.
Clayton M. Atkins, 77, of Millsboro, Del., passed away Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2014, at Atlantic General Hospital in Berlin, Md.
Atkins was born in Millsboro the son of the late Raymond and Elva (Griffin) Atkins.
Malinda Carey, 84, of Dagsboro, Del., passed away Saturday, Dec. 6, 2014, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Md. Born in Willards, Md., she was the daughter of the late Charles and Agnes (Bradford) Collins.
Carey retired from First National Bank and former NCR as an input operator and attended Siloam House of Fellowship in Siloam, Md.
Cathleen V. Earl, 65, of Ocean View, Del., formerly of Alvin, Texas, and New Castle, Del., passed away peacefully on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, Del.
Joan Mary Maby, 92, of Fenwick Island, Del., passed away Sunday, Dec. 7, 2014. She was born in Pontypridd, Wales, and daughter of the late Florence and Albert Walton.
Maby moved from Wales to Bristol, England, where she met her beloved husband, Rennison Alfred Maby. They moved to London and then to the United States in 1957.
Anthony Eugene Orhelein, 89, of Selbyville, Del., died Sunday, Dec. 28, 2014, at home, surrounded by his family. He was born Oct. 22, 1925, in Jamaica, N.Y., son of Anthony and Theresa (Maguire) Orhelein.
The oldest of three children, Orhelein was big brother to Bill (now deceased) and to his sister, Marilyn, who only reluctantly shared him when he got married.
Joseph John O’Neill, 81, of Selbyville, Del., and formerly of Ellicott City, Md., died Sunday, Jan. 4, 2015, at Delaware Veterans Home in Milford. He was born in Scranton, Pa., son of the late Joseph Francis and Catherine (Malinauskas) O’Neill.
James Russell Pope, 87, of Bethany Beach, Del., known as “Big Jim,” “Big Red,” “Jim” and husband of the late Kathleen A. “Punky” (Milloy) Pope, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes, Del.
He was born and raised in Washington, D.C., and along with his brother, Lawrence Pope, sons of the late James Raymond and Gertrude (Mulcare) Pope.

Jeanette L. Hall, 91, of Millsboro, Del., passed away on Monday, Dec. 22, 2014. She was born Nov. 2, 1923, to the late William H. Layton and Marie Ellingsworth Layton.
Hall retired from the State of Delaware, having taught cosmetology at Kent VoTech and later having been transferred to Sussex Tech.
Dolores Christina (George) Kyle, 91, of Ocean View, Del., formerly of Ocean City, Md., and Baltimore, Md., went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Dec. 23, 2014. She was born May 29, 1923, the first child of Joseph George and Bertha George.

Barbara L. Pierce, 74, of Millsboro, Del., formerly of Frankford, Del., and Lanham, Md., passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 24, 2014, at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, Del. Pierce was born Nov. 13, 1940, in Springfield, Mass., daughter of the late Harold Somers and Dorothy (Curto) Somers.
Robert J. Stamp, 94, died in a local nursing facility on Thursday, Dec.18, 2014. He was born in Goose Lake, Iowa, son of the late John F. and Christine Nissen Stamp.
