Esther M. Lentz, 90, of Lewes, Del., passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2015, at Beebe Healthcare in Lewes. She was born on Sept. 18, 1924, in Ridgway, Pa., daughter of the late John William Frederick and Alma H. (Yonkie) Frederick.

Dalton R. Spencer, 83

Dalton R. Spencer, 83, of Selbyville, Del., died Saturday, March 28, 2015, at Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. He was born in Barre, Vt., son of the late Stephen Spencer and Violet (Jaycox) Spencer.

Spencer retired from C&P Telephone Co. in Washington, D.C. He was a member of the Ocean City (Md.) VFW and the Ocean City Elks, and was a U.S. Navy veteran.

Milton C. Toomey, 79

Milton C. Toomey, 79, of Dagsboro, Del., passed away Friday, April 3, 2015, at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital in Seaford, Del. Toomey was born in Gumboro, Del., son of the late William and Bessie (Nibblet) Toomey. He was a retired auto mechanic and truck driver.

Irene Carlotta Wohrna, 93, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 4, 2015. She was born in Baltimore, Md., on Jan. 12, 1922. A native of Baltimore, Wohrna lived in Millsboro, Del., where she was active in the community.

Howard O. Coffin Sr., 95, passed away peacefully at home in the presence of his family on Tuesday, March 24, 2015. Coffin was born Sept. 19, 1919, in Millsboro, Del., to the late Willard S. Coffin and Nora Downs Coffin. He was the last surviving child of 20.

Bunting attended Selbyville Elementary and Junior High School, and Penn Hall High School in Chambersburg, Pa., and graduated from the University of Delaware in 1973.

William Edward Jackson Jr., 62

William Edward Jackson Jr., 62, affectionately referred to as “Big Bill” and “Junior,” passed away on Sunday, March 22, 2015, with his family by his side, at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. He was born Sept. 30, 1952, in Lewes, Del., to the late William E. Jackson Sr. and Doreen Clark Jackson, who survives him.

Paul M. Krug, 75, of Georgetown, Del., formerly of Thomasville, Pa., passed away Sunday, March 22, 2015, at Nanticoke Memorial Hospital.

Krug was born on Sept. 1, 1939, in Hanover, Pa., to the late Paul and Evelyn Emlet Krug. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. He retired from Preston Trucking and was a former Hanover police officer. He loved hunting and fishing.

Cullen was born in Campbelltown, Md., on July 1, 1922, to the late Herman Campbell and Edna (Trader) Campbell. She was a graduate of Buckingham High School’s Class of 1939 in Berlin, Md.

Asher E. Hammond Sr., 82

Asher E. Hammond Sr., 82, of Frankford, Del., passed away Monday, March 23, 2015, at home, with his loving family by his side.

Hammond served in the U.S. Army from 1953 to 1955 and fought in the Korean War, prior to working as a poultry farmer for many years. He later went to work for the Raymond Banks farm before he retired.

George “Everett” Dukes, 87, of Dagsboro, Del., passed away on Tuesday, March 10, 2015. Dukes was born Nov. 6, 1927, in Frankford, Del., to the late Horace J. Dukes and Edna Franklin Dukes.

Dukes retired from Townsend’s Inc., after 42 years of service. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a past member of American Legion Post 28 in Millsboro, Del.
