Gustave A. Yack, 86, of Bethany Beach, Del., passed away on Saturday, Nov. 7, 2015, at his daughter’s residence in Bethesda, Md. He was born Saturday, Dec. 15, 1928, in Kearny, N.J., son of the late Gustave and Anna (Malley) Yack.
Charlette N. Bryant, 69, of Ocean View, Del., died Friday, Oct. 23, 2015, at home. She was born in Chester, Pa., daughter of the late Everett and Betty (Joseph) Jones.
She had worked for Food Lion for many years.
Lucy Anne Bunting, 82, of Bishopville, Md., died Saturday, Oct. 31, 2015, at home after a long battle with cancer. She was born in Boothwyn, Pa., daughter of the late Reuben Crowther Reed and Anna Booth (Fauver) Reed.
Robert Joseph Dale “Bud,” 82, passed away on Oct. 27, 2015, at the Delaware Hospice Center.
Dale was born on Feb. 20, 1933, in Selbyville, Del., to the late Edward and Roda Dale. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Leila Drummond Dale in 1997; three children, Vera Curtis, William Drummond and Kevin Dorsey; four sisters; and two brothers.
Reba M. Dougherty, 92, of Wilmington, Del., formerly of Ocean View, Del., passed away on Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015, at the Brandywine Nursing Center in Wilmington, Del.
Donald Gary “Don” Evans, 74, passed away in the loving care of his family on Oct. 31, 2015.
Helen H. Layton, 89, of Millsboro, Del., passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, Oct. 30, 2015.
Layton was born Sept. 15, 1926, in Lewes, Del., to the late Gardner and Emma Layton Howard. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her first husband, Burton Hudson, and her second husband, Elmer Layton.
Robert “Bob” Long, 76, of Gumboro, Del., passed away on Oct. 31, 2015, following a short illness.
Long was born in Bishop, Md., to Virgie (Wilkerson) and Harry Long. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister Janet Redzig.

Frederick Charles Oeffner, 78, of Lewes, Del., passed away on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015, at his home surrounded by his loving family after over a two and a half year battle with metastatic prostate cancer.
Valerie L. Rogers, 55, of Bear, Del., passed peacefully and went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, Oct. 30, 2015.
Barbara Alice Sutton, 90, of Millsboro, Del., formerly of Ocean View, Del., passed away Sunday, Oct. 25, 2015, at her home.
Sutton was born Aug. 1, 1925, in Somerville, Mass., daughter of the late Walter and Maude Brown. She was the manager of Murrays Topside Restaurant for eight years. She loved to travel and play bridge.
John E. Watson, 86, of Rehoboth Beach, Del., passed away on Monday, Oct. 26, 2015, at his residence. He was born Tuesday, Nov. 20, 1928, in Cincinnati, Ohio, son of the late John and Kirby (Stooksbury) Watson.
Ray W. Wells, 96, of Frankford, Del., died suddenly on Thursday, Oct. 29, 2015, after suffering a heart attack.
Wells was born in Selbyville, Del., son of the late George and Minnie Wells. His wife, Thelma Wells, a native of Frankford, lived with him for 75 years.
He served in the United States Navy during World War II and retired from H&H Poultry of Selbyville in 1984.
Alan “Al” Anthony Zlotorzynski Sr., 64, of Millsboro, Del., formerly of Ocean Pines, Md., Highlandtown, Md., and Catonsville, Md., passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at home on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2015.
Lynn Thomas BeMiller III, 20, of Millsboro, Del. passed away suddenly on Oct. 16, 2015, after a tragic accident. He was born Sept. 6, 1995, in Seaford, Del., to Lynn Thomas BeMiller Jr. and Crystal Anne Tripp.

Roland Dukes, 86, a 62-year resident of Dagsboro, Del., died suddenly Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015, after suffering a heart attack. He was born Sept. 24, 1929, in Dagsboro. He was the son of the late Harry E. Dukes and Bertha (Daisey) Dukes.
Dolores Carlita (Crist) Engle, 80, born Nov. 29,1934, passed away peacefully on Oct 10, 2015, in her home in Millsboro, Del. Engle was born in Parkside, Pa., to John Crist and Tess (Petillo) Crist in 1934, She attended and graduated from St. Roberts High School. She resided the majority of her life in Chester, Pa., (West End).
Richard Lee Howard, 70, of Ocean View, Del., a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed from this world to his next big adventure on Thursday, Oct. 8, 2015, at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford, Del. He was born in Scott Field, Ill., son of the late Busey Howard and Mary Lee (Shanks) Howard.
Lester Carl “Doc” Keup, 83, formerly of Ocean View, Del., died peacefully at his home at Gardens of White Chapel, Newark, Del., on Oct. 14, 2015.
Leroy Timmons, 74, of Selbyville, Del., died Thursday, Oct. 15, 2015, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Md. He was the son of the late Roy Henry Timmons and Maude Marie (Wilkins) Timmons.
Timmons was an independent truck driver for many years and was a member of the Owner Operator Independent Drivers Association. He served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War.
