Victoria Shanea “Wikkii” Cannon, 34, passed away on May 30, 2019. She was born Aug. 6, 1984, in Lewes, Del.
She was well-loved by everyone. She had a slew of talents and hobbies, including crafts and praise dancing. She was also a published award-winning poet. Cannon loved to visit the Ace Peer Center and The Shepherd’s Office, go on shopping trips, and attend her local church, Restoration Worship Center.
Cannon is survived by her husband of seven years, Corbert Cannon Jr.; her mother, Jacqueline Askins; her siblings, Marcus Handy and Latoya Walters; godparents, Lafayette and Victoria Ferebee; nephews and nieces, Brendan Handy, Christopher Handy, Ryan Handy, Kaelynn Douglas and Kamrynn Walters; five grandparents; her stepparents; and a large, loving network of family and friends.
She would always be sure to share the news of how far God has brought her through life, and her family is at peace now that Cannon is at home with her heavenly father.
A funeral service and celebration of life were to be held June 5, 2019, at Calvary Pentecostal Church in Bishopville, Md., with interment following at Zoar Golden Acres.
