Loretta Bondeson, 60, passed away on Nov. 9, 2017.
She was born in Astoria, N.Y., daughter of the late Erle and Sally Bondeson.
She served in the United States Navy as a seaman. She worked for Tyco in Princeton, N.J. as a senior site manager.
Bondeson was an avid fan of football and dedicated her Sundays to watching football. She loved gardening and cooking and shared many recipes and meals with friends and neighbors. She had many talents, including renovating, design and decorating. Her home was her pride and joy. She always helped friends with their home projects.
Bondeson was an avid card player and belonged to the American Legion Post 28 Pinochle League and the Pot Nets — Lakeside Pinochle League.
In addition to her parents, Bondeson was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Bondeson. She is survived by her dear friend Debbie Wallace; their precious dog, Gracie, who brought her so much joy; a sister, Roseann Davis of North Carolina; several nieces and nephews; a great-niece and great-nephews.
A celebration of Bondeson’s life and a memorial dinner were scheduled for Dec. 3, 2017, at the Lakeside Community clubhouse in Long Neck, Del.
