Elaine Watson, 75, of Millsboro, Del., passed away on Monday, Nov. 13, 2017, at Atlantic Shores Nursing & Rehab Center. She was born March 16, 1942, in Pensacola, Fla., to the late Luther E. Eppinger and Martha I. Lundy Eppinger.
Watson retired from work as a beautician. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Georgetown, Del. She was a Navy wife and, later in life, a policeman’s wife and the mother of two children. She loved dogs, cats and horses.
Watson is survived by her devoted husband of 56 years, Wayne Porter Watson of Millsboro; a son, Dwayne Scott Watson and his wife, Diane, of Morganza, Md.; a daughter, Tracy L. Engbloom and her husband, John, of Davison, Mich.; a brother, Luther “Butch” Eppinger of Bedford, Pa.; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a niece; a nephew; cousins; and extended family and friends.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 17, 2017, at the First Baptist Church, 20304 N. DuPont Highway, Georgetown, Del., where friends may call starting at 10 a.m. for viewing and visitation. Burial will be private.
