Nov. 6, the day of the election, at around 5 p.m., the dinner provided by DiFebo’s restaurant arrived at the Bethany Beach fire house. The dinner provided was quite a treat for the 14 poll workers. The day starts at 6 a.m. It ends about 8:30 p.m.
The dinner of baked ziti, chicken marsala, with a salad, made for a wonderful meal. We can’t thank Lisa DiFebo enough. The restaurant has always been a good neighbor to donate meals when asked.
She and Gerald Hocker, who delivered breakfast buns and goodies himself that morning, are truly good neighbors. Thank you for your time, effort and delicious food. You both are two of the many reasons that make Bethany Beach a great place to live.
