Town of Ocean View - 2018 Bidding for Woodland Park Drainage


Sealed bids for the Town of Ocean View, Woodland Park Drainage Project, Project Number 2019-03 will be received by the Town Manager of Ocean View until 10:00 a.m., local time, on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at the Office of the Administrative Official, Wallace A. Melson Municipal Building, 201 Central Ave, 2nd Floor, Ocean View, Delaware 19970, at which time they will be opened, read, and recorded.

The work involves the furnishing of all labor, materials, transportation, tools, supplies and equipment necessary to make drainage improvements along several roads in the Incorporated Town of Ocean View. Work Includes ditching, pipe replacement, and sodding. 

Interested Contractors may purchase a copy of the Contract Documents for $50.00 during normal working hours starting Thursday, September 20, 2018 at the Office of the Administrative Official, Wallace A. Melson Municipal Building, 201 Central Ave, 2nd Floor, Ocean View, Delaware  19970. In addition, a pre-bid meeting will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018 10:00 a.m. local time, in the Wallace A. Melson Municipal Building located at 201 Central Ave, Ocean View, Delaware.  Attendance at this meeting is mandatory for all prospective bidders and will be a pre-requisite for submitting a bid.

Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and shall be marked clearly as follows:  Sealed Bid - Proposal for Woodland Park Drainage Project.  Requirements for a 10% Bid Bond, 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond, Maintenance Bond, and Contractor's Insurance are included in the Contract Documents.

Each Bidder must deposit with his Bid, security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Instruction for Bidders.  The Town of Ocean View reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and make such award as appears most advantageous to the Town.
