Town of Ocean View - 2018 Bidding for Street Patching


Sealed bids for the Town of Ocean View, FY2019 Street Patching Project, will be received by the Town Manager of Ocean View until 10:00 a.m., local time, on Friday, October 5, 2018, at the Office of the Administrative Official, Wallace A. Melson Municipal Building, 201 Central Ave, 2nd Floor, Ocean View, Delaware 19970, at which time they will be opened, read, and recorded.

The work involves the furnishing of all labor, materials, transportation, tools, supplies and equipment necessary to make necessary roadway patches on several roads in the Incorporated Town of Ocean View.    

Interested Contractors may purchase a copy of the Contract Documents for $25.00 during normal working hours starting Wednesday, September 19, 2018, at the Office of the Administrative Official, Wallace A. In addition, a pre-bid meeting will be held on Friday, September 21, 10:30 a.m. local time, in the Wallace A. Melson Municipal Building located at 201 Central Ave, Ocean View, Delaware.  Attendance at this meeting is mandatory for all prospective bidders and will be a pre-requisite for submitting a bid.

Bids shall be submitted in a sealed envelope and shall be marked clearly as follows:  Sealed Bid - Proposal for FY2019 Street Patching Project.

Requirements for a 10% Bid Bond, 100% Performance Bond, 100%

Payment Bond and 50% Maintenance Bond, and Contractor's Insurance are included in the Contract Documents.

The Town of Ocean View reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and make such award as appears most advantageous to the Town.
