Anita “Louise” Stone, 79, of Willards, Md., formerly of Millsboro, Del., passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on Friday, Aug. 31 2018, at her home. She was born in Selbyville, Del., on Jan. 9, 1939, daughter of the late Handy B. West and Sadie J. (McCoy) West.
Stone was a graduate of John M. Clayton High School, in the Class of 1957. She worked at the DuPont Company in Seaford, Del., retiring in 1997 with 34 years of service. She loved to read, shop and, most of all, eat out at local restaurants.
In addition to her parents and her siblings, Stone was preceded in death by her husband, Ricky S. Stone, in 2017, and a daughter, Kimberly Dayton. She is survived by her children Terri Jensen and her husband, Christopher, of Lewes, Del., Quintin Stone of Laurel, Del., Kim Hall and her husband, Mickey, of Princess Anne, Md., and Dee Weitzel of Salisbury, Md.; her seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; three sisters-in-law, Netta Jane Lind of Willards, Md., Andrea Burgess of Laurel, and Jennifer Myers and her husband, Michael, also of Laurel; and several nieces and nephews.
