Annual bazaar a hit, thanks to many

Editor:

The Parish of St. Ann provided a wonderful shopping experience for its parishioners, community and visitors during their 38th Annual Bazaar.

It was a fabulous and successful event this year! More than 3,000 attendees lined up to shop and find their perfect treasure from the thousands of donations that were received over the past three months. Let’s hear a big round of applause for our donors, parishioners, community residents and vacationing visitors that helped to make this bazaar successful. On behalf of the Bazaar Committee, I thank you!

This event would not have been possible without the support of our generous sponsors. Partnering with Melson’s Funeral Services, Holly Kia, Northeast Seafood [Kitchen], Gregory J. Cannizzaro Graphic Designs, Bethany Blues, Ba Roos Ice Cream, Armand’s Pizza, All About U Salon & Spa and Tidewater Physical Therapy helped to create an event that surpassed all others.

Also, many thanks to the numerous silent-auction donors and program advertisers. I appreciate all their support and look forward to working with them in the future. A special shout-out to the Osborne family, who seemed to manage the impossible! Their creative and beautifully-themed silent-auction baskets provided an upscale atmosphere to an already fabulous silent auction.

As chair of this event, I would also like to express my sincere gratitude to each and every one of the more than 200 volunteers and the parish staff for all of their support, hard work, and dedication during these past three months. They all managed to re-arrange their schedules and gave up family time to help prepare for this bazaar. It was a giant success, and everyone involved should be celebrated!
