Labarron Scott, 73, of Millsboro, Del., passed away peacefully, at home, with his family by his side, on Sunday, Aug. 5, 2018. He was born on Jan. 22, 1945 in Atmore, Ala., to the late Jimmy and Helen Lambert Scott.
Scott had retired from work for Mountaire Farms after 20 years of service.
He was known to family and friends as “Lee” or “Pop,” and he loved to talk and spend time with his family. He loved taking vacation with family to North Carolina and Atlantic City. He was also very meticulous when it came to taking care of his cars.
In addition to his parents, Scott was also preceded in death by his daughter, Felicia Wiggins. He leaves to mourn him his devoted wife of 24 years, Phyllis Scott of Millsboro; nine children, Deborah Rudolph of Alabama and Labarron Sledge of Minnesota, Laneisha Sledge, Latonya Sledge, Arelious Wiggins and Tyshawn Bell, all of New Haven, Conn., Terrelle Belle and Narissa Belle of Millsboro, and Robert Bell and his wife, Natisha, of Harbeson, Del.; a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and his extended family and good friends.
A going-home service was to be held Aug. 13, 2018, at Trinity Holiness Church in Frankford, Del., with burial at Zoar Golden Acres Cemetery in Bishopville, Md. Flowers were welcome. Condolences may be sent online at www.watsonfh.com.
