The Town of Ocean View will host an informational meeting on the planned Woodland Park drainage project next week, on Tuesday, Aug. 14, at town hall.
While the presentation regarding the work will begin at 6 p.m., the public is being invited to arrive earlier to view detailed posters that will be set up.
“We’ll have about five plan sheets to show the grading in front of people’s homes,” explained Ken Cimino, Planning & Zoning director for the Town of Ocean View. “We’re going to have them set up on easels … so people can walk around and take a look at them … and see the improvements we have planned for their community.”
Homeowners in Woodland Park are being encouraged to attend the meeting, which will be run by Cimino and Jim Lober of the Town’s engineering firm, Kercher Engineering. Once they give an overview of the project, they will open the floor up to questions.
Cimino said the meeting is targeted at just the owners of property in Woodland Park; however, anyone may attend the meeting.
Easements are still being sought for the project, and documents for the granting of outstanding easements will be available that evening.
Cimino said he hopes to begin work on the project in November.
