Jervone Rakeem Hall, 33, of Bridgeville, Del., passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2018, after a traffic accident on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel on Friday, July 27, 2018. He was born on Sept. 27, 1984, to Willie Johnson and Tyann Hall Collick, who survive him.
Hall was a graduate of Indian River High School, in the Class of 2002, where he was a member of the ROTC. He joined the U.S. Marine Corps in 2008 and, upon his discharge, he returned to his career driving a truck, which was his dream. He worked for Rennie Hunt Trucking Co.
Hall enjoyed playing chess, collecting knives and swords, and “tinkering” on electronics. He loved his mother’s sweet-potato pie and always requested one for Christmas. He loved spending time with his brothers, Darnell and Tervone, who were his best friends.
He leaves behind his father, Willie Johnson of Bridgeville; his mother, Tyann Collick, and his stepfather, Webster, of Frankford, Del.; his maternal grandmother, Mary M. Hall of Dagsboro, Del.; 10 siblings, Darnell Hall of Bridgeville, his twin brother Tervone Hall of Harrington, Del., Willie Trader of Seaford, Del., Garland Jefferson of Seaford, Del., Endora Jefferson of Seaford, Tyson Jefferson of Delmar, Del., Rhonda Dobson of Laurel, Del., Milton Lofland of Georgia, and his stepsisters Corinda and Abbagail Collick of Frankford; his aunts and uncles, Georganna Purnell and her husband, James, of Frankford, Del., John Hall and his wife, Cathy, of Frankford, Mike Hall and his wife, Toni, of Bridgeville, Tanya Griffin and her spouse, Elisha, of Smyrna, Del., and Paris Hall of Dagsboro, Del.; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family members and friends.
A memorial service was to be held Aug. 4, 2018, at Antioch AME Church in Frankford, Del. Burial was to be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggested memorial donations to Antioch AME Church; 194 Clayton Ave.; Frankford, DE 19945. Condolences may be sent online at www.watsonfh.com.
