Martha J. Tutak, 86, of Millsboro, Del., formerly of Delaware County, Pa., passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family, on Tuesday, July 24, 2018. She was born in Lyndwood, Pa., on Feb. 2, 1932, daughter of the late Richard Honeychurch and Eva (Allen) Honeychurch.
Tutak graduated from Hanover High School in Hanover Township, Pa. She was employed with the Franklin Mint, where she managed the employee store, retiring in 1988 with 15 years of service.
After her retirement and move to Delaware in 1989, Tutak volunteered at Beebe Hospital’s gift shop for 10 years and also in Beebe’s Thrift Shop for about five years. She was a member of the Indian River Yacht Club and the American Legion Post 28 Ladies Auxiliary in Millsboro. She enjoyed traveling, taking cruises, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Tutak was preceded in death by a brother, Richard Honeychurch. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Lawrence W. “Larry” Tutak; two sons, L. Scott Tutak and his wife, Patricia, of Avondale, Pa., and Rich Tutak and his wife, Donna, of Boothwyn, Pa.; and four grandchildren, Dana Tutak, Richard Tutak Jr., Christopher Tutak and Catherine Tutak.
A celebration of Tutak’s life was to be held July 30, 2018, at the Long Neck Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, Millsboro, Del. Interment was to be held privately at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro, Del.
