Milton E. “Bill” Phillips, 83, of Dagsboro, Del., passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018. He was born on April 3, 1935, in Gumboro, Del., to the late Norman A. Phillips and Beatrice G. White Phillips.
Phillips was a truck driver and also owned Phillips Salvage. He loved old Western movies, enjoyed the beach, camping at Cherrystone and NASCAR (especially Earnhardt), and was a CB radio buff.
Phillips is survived by his wife of 53 years, Marie E. Mitchell Phillips of Dagsboro; eight children, Duke Phillips and his wife, Beth, of Mardella Springs, Md., Dee Morris and her husband, Jeff, of Dagsboro, Donna Phillips of Texas, Beverly Downs of Selbyville, Del., Robin W. Phillips and his wife, Carol Denise, of Dagsboro, Sharon Phillips of Dagsboro, Craig Phillips and his wife, Barbara, of Dagsboro and Keith Alfred Phillips and his wife, Cheryl Ann, of Camden-Wyoming, Del.; a sister, Lorraine Workman of Millsboro, Del.; 16 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren; as well as extended family members and friends.
A funeral service was to be held June 26, 2018, at Watson Funeral Home, with burial at the Woodlawn Memorial Park, both in Millsboro, Del. Condolences may be sent online at www.watsonfh.com.
