Delores “Dee” (Shriver) Perticari, 81, of Bethany Beach, Del., passed away on March 25, 2018. She was born in and spent her early years in Washington, D.C.
Perticari was married to her husband, Antonio T. Perticari, for 54 years. They lived in Maryland before settling permanently in Bethany Beach in 1999. She was employed by the CIA and also as office manager for Phelps Time Lock Service. She was a Lord Baltimore Lioness, a member of the Red Hats and an active participant in Cheer Coastal Center activities.
Perticari was preceded in death by her son Francis Perticari in 2016. In addition to her husband, Tony, she is survived by their son and daughter-in-law Lou and Mary Perticari; granddaughters, Toni Marie Perticari and Sommer Perticari; grandson, Louis Perticari Jr.; great-grandson, Albaro Antezana; her sister, Carol Grimm; her brother, Dennis Shriver; and other extended family members.
A funeral Mass is scheduled for Saturday, April 21, 2018, at 11 a.m. at St. Ann’s Catholic Church, Garfield Parkway, Bethany Beach, Del. A celebration of her life will be held Sunday, May 6, at noon at the Millville, Del., fire hall on Route 26, where family and friends may share anecdotes about her. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m.
