Town of Ocean View - Feb. 16, '12 Board of Adj. Meeting Notice

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN BY the Board of Adjustment of the Town of Ocean View that a public hearing will be held on Application V-248, a request for a variance from Article V, § 999-28 and § 999-32; Article XVI, § 999-100; and Article II, § 187-10 of the Ocean View Town Code submitted by Joseph C. Hyde. The applicant seeks a variance that would permit the creation of a lot with a width of 61 feet, a 14.5 foot encroachment into the required front lot setback (existing), the location of an existing accessory structure that would be within the required 15 foot side lot line setback, and the location of an existing driveway that would be within 5 feet of an adjacent lot line on property located at 55 Central Avenue (225.000) (1-34-12.00-622.00).
The hearing will be held at the Town Hall located at 32 West Avenue at 6 p.m. or as soon as possible thereafter on Thursday, February 16, 2012.
The appropriate material may be examined by interested parties on the second floor of the Wallace A. Melson Municipal Building located at 201 Central Avenue between 8:30 a.m. and noon and 1 through 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
All interested parties are welcome to attend and present their views. If unable to attend the public hearing, written comments will be accepted but must be received prior to the hearing.
