RESCHEDULED PUBLIC HEARINGS

TOWN OF OCEAN VIEW PUBLIC NOTICE
FIRST AND SECOND READINGS

The Town Council of Ocean View will hold a public hearing for the second reading of the following ordinance on Tuesday, September 18, 2012, rather than Tuesday, September 11, 2012
• An Ordinance to Amend the Personnel Policy Ordinance Relating to Nepotism
This ordinance clarifies the circumstance under which nepotism is prohibited and the degree of relationship to which it applies.

The Town Council of Ocean View will hold a public hearing for the first reading of the following ordinance on Tuesday, September 18, 2012, rather than Tuesday, September 11, 2012, and a public hearing for the second reading of this ordinance on Tuesday, October 9, 2012:
• Public Hearing – First Reading on An Ordinance to Amend Section 68-12 of the Ocean View Code to Authorize the Town Council to Designate Walk Areas for Domesticated Animals in Public Parks
This proposed ordinance authorizes the Town Council to designate walk areas for domesticated animals in the John West Park and to provide regulations therefore.

All public hearings will be held at 7 p.m. or as soon as possible thereafter prior to the Town Council meetings in the Town Hall located at 32 West Avenue.
The ordinances may be examined in the second floor of the Wallace A. Melson Municipal Building located at 201 Central Avenue between 8:30 a.m. and noon and 1 and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
All interested parties are welcome to attend the public hearings and present their views. If unable to attend the public hearings, written comments will be accepted but must be received prior to the public hearings.
