Board of Adjustment Public Notice
The Board of Adjustment of the Town of Bethany Beach will hold a Public meeting on December 12, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Bethany Beach Town Hall, 214 Garfield Parkway in Bethany Beach, Delaware.
The purpose of the hearing is to consider the application for an Appeal of the Building Inspector’s Decision, filed by Carl Tull, owner of 314 Second Street, for property identified as Block 20, Lot 8, at 314 Second Street, in the R-1 Residential District. The applicant is seeking an appeal of the Building Inspector’s interpretation of the Zoning Code as it relates to accessory buildings as found in Chapter 425 Zoning, Section 425-2 Definitions and word usage, Section 425-10 Accessory buildings, and Appendix 3, Table of Dimensional Requirements, as it relates to a proposed new dwelling and garage.
The application may be inspected in the office of the Building Inspector, 214 Garfield Parkway, Bethany Beach, DE between the hours of 8:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, except scheduled Holidays.
All interested persons are hereby notified to be present and to attend this hearing where said Board may make a determination on the application. Said Board without further notice may adjourn such hearing from time to time.
The Board may recess for good reason on the announced day and reconvene on another day to continue the hearing; in such a case, the announcement of the date and time of reconvening will constitute sufficient public notice.
