TOWN OF OCEAN VIEW PUBLIC NOTICE
POSTING OF ASSESSMENT LIST
As per the Town of Ocean View Charter, Section 3.112 (A), the Assessment List for the Fiscal Year 2017 will be available for public inspection in the Town Administrative Offices from Tuesday, February 16, 2016, until
Monday, March 7, 2016. The Administrative Offices, which are located on the second floor of the Wallace A. Melson Municipal Building (201 Central Avenue), will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, for examination of all property assessments.
The Town of Ocean View is pleased to announce tax and assessment
information is also now available online. Visit the Town’s website: www.oceanviewde.com and click on “Online Tax Payment” from the left menu bar. The online tax database may be used for tax payments (partial or full), but is also searchable by property owner’s last name or by property location (street name) for informational purposes.
Town of Ocean View property owners interested in appealing their property assessment shall notify the Town Council in writing within twenty (20) days of the February 16, 2016, posting date (March 7, 2016) as required per Town Charter. Please mail appeals to:

The Board of Assessment shall hear and determine each assessment
appeal. The Town will contact all appellants to schedule an appeal.
