PUBLIC NOTICE OF
POSTING OF ASSESSMENT LIST
Pursuant to the Ocean View Charter, Section 3.112 (A), the Assessment List for Fiscal Year 2018 is available for inspection in the Town Administrative Offices, Wallace A. Melson Municipal Building, 201 Central Avenue, June 8, 2017 through July 6, 2017, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Property owners who appeal their property assessment shall notify the Board of Assessment in writing, by completing a Tax Assessment Appeal Form (available on Town website), no later than twenty (20) days after
posting of the assessment list or being notified by letter that the assessment has changed. Address appeals to: Ocean View Board of Assessment, 201 Central Avenue, Ocean View DE 19970.
The Board of Assessment shall hear and determine each assessment appeal. The Town will contact all appellants to schedule an appeal. Tax and assessment information is available online at www.oceanviewde.com.
