Charles N. Hyatt, 76, of Ocean View, formerly of Lanham, Md., died Tuesday, May 16, 2006 at Atlantic General Hospital, Berlin, Md.
He was a retired salesman with the American Greetings Company.
He was a Navy veteran of the Korean War and a member of St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Bethany Beach. He was also a member of the Fenwick Island Lions Club, the Ocean City Elks Club, the Knights of Columbus and the Delmarva Irish American Club.
He is survived by his wife, Anita O. Hyatt; three sons, Charles V. Hyatt, James A. Hyatt, and Richard M. Hyatt; one daughter, Karen A. Kennison; 13 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Dorothy A. Hyatt, in 1994 and a son, Lawrence E. Hyatt, in 1999.
A Mass of Christian burial was scheduled for Friday, May 19, at 11 a.m. with interment at Mariner’s Bethel Cemetery, Ocean View. Friends may call Thursday, May 18, from 6 to 8 p.m., at Hastings Funeral Home, Selbyville.
