Homer A. McMahon, 78, of Millsboro died on Friday, May 12, 2006, at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury, Md. He was a photographer.
McMahon was a veteran of World War II, serving in the U.S. Army. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 28 in Millsboro and the Community Church of Oak Orchard.
McMahon is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Shirley L. (Beavers) McMahon; one son, Clifton McMahon; three daughters, Cheryl Holliday, Susan McMahon and Teresa Gumpher; eight grandchildren, Bobbie Hines, Amber and Thomas Holliday, Clifton and Tammy McMahon, Joshua McMahon, Alexis and Joey Gumpher and one great-grandchild, Emily Hines. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sons, Wayne and Keith McMahon.
Funeral services were scheduled for May 18 at the Community Church of Oak Orchard, Oak Orchard Rd., Millsboro with interment at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Millsboro.
