Edward C. Hensler, 69, of Dagsboro, formerly of Baltimore, Md., died on Saturday, May 27, 2006 at home. He was a retired printer from Baltimore’s The Sun newspaper, where he was employed for 38 years. Hensler was a member of the Moose Lodge in Glen Burnie.
He is survived by his loving wife of 19 years, Doris A. (Megary) Hensler; a son, Chuck Hensler; two daughters, Sherry Cromwell and Chris Spyridakos; two sisters, Harriett Scott and Carolynn Rizzo; six grandchildren, Jesse, Tina, Holly, Danielle, Alex and Adam; and two step-children, Marc Cooke and Kim Cooke. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Hensler.
Funeral services were scheduled for May 30 at the Bethany Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, West Ave., Ocean View. Interment will be private.
