Nancy W. Yarish, 63 of Millsboro, formerly of Connellsville, Pa., lost her life to cancer Tuesday, Oct. 31, 2006, at her home.
She was born March 24, 1943, in Connellsville, Pa., a daughter of the late Edgar A. and Madeline Dawson Wilcox. Until her retirement, Yarish worked 28 years for the federal government and then started her own business, Premier Meetings. On Jan. 6, 1965, she married her beloved husband, Jack L. Yarish, who survives.
Also surviving are two sisters, Jane Sprouse and Donnie Hardy.; an aunt, Grace Brow and her husband, David and several nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Anna Marion.
Funeral services were scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 5, in the Yoskovich Funeral Home. Interment was to follow at Greene County Memorial Park, Waynesburg, Pa. A memorial service was also to be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 9, 2006, at The Lutheran Church of Our Savior, Rehoboth Beach.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made in her memory to the Delaware Hospice, 20167 Office Circle, Georgetown, DE 19947 or to the East Sussex County Relay for Life for Cancer, Holly Lakes Campgrounds, 32087 Holly Lake Rd., Millsboro, DE 19966.
