Raymond Blake, 90 of Bishopville, Md., died Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006.
Blake enjoyed fishing, hunting. He was a hard-working, friendly and neighborly man, family members said. He was known as the neighborhood repair man. He would do anything he could for you and never charge for it, they said. He enjoyed raising goats, chickens and pigs.
He is survived by a son, Maurice Blake and wife Gloria; daughter, Elsie Graye and husband Francis; sister Violet Showell; five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by George and Mary Ayres Blake and his wife, Maggie Townsend Blake in 2001.
Funeral services were scheduled for Friday, Nov. 10, 2006, at 11:00 a.m. at Curtis United Methodist Church Campbelltown Road. Bishopville, Md., where friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be at Curtis Church Cemetery, Bishopville, Md.
