Harry Cullen, 91, of Selbyville, died Saturday, Nov. 18, 2006, at home.
He was the owner of Harry Cullen Floor and Wall Covering Inc., Selbyville, for 50 years. He was a member of the Selbyville Elks Lodge BPOE 2173, the Mason Dixon VFW Post 7234, Ocean View, and the American Legion Post 28, Millsboro. He was an avid golfer and member of the Ocean City Golf and Yacht Club. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by a son, Michael L. Cullen; two daughters, Dawn Ovando and Karen S. Hazard; five grandchildren, one great-grandson, “his nice niece” Norma Lee Hitchens, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen V. Cullen in 1995.
Funeral services were scheduled for Wednesday, Nov. 22, 2006, at noon at Hastings Funeral Home in Selbyville, with interment at Redmen’s Cemetery in Selbyville.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Delaware Hospice, 600 North DuPont Highway, Georgetown, DE 19947.
