Thelma Hitchens Miller, 75, of Millsboro passed away on Friday, Feb. 2, 2007, in her home.
She was a member of the Nanticoke Indian Association, and loved the outdoors, flowers and children. She attended Friendship United Methodist Church in Millsboro and cleaned houses for 38 years.
She is survived by her son, Larry S. Miller of Millsboro; daughters, Sandra Zacamitzin of Millsboro, Jocelyn Cannon of Millsboro, Sharon Harmon of Millsboro; sisters, Virgie Rivera of Georgetown and Sarah Johnson of Wilmington; grandchildren, Leslie, Larissa, Dino, Ranada, Aaron, Heather, Jeremiah, Jordan, Michael and Shawnie; great-grandchildren, Carissa, Larry, Lakota, Tacoma, Nevaeh, Ronnie Jr., Rayna, Mason, Jalen, Christopher, Kaydea, Caleb and Gabriel.
She was predeceased by her parents, Harvey E. and Virgie M. Thompson Hitchens; husband, Edward Sylvester Miller; brothers, Reginald and Harvey Hitchens.
Funeral services were scheduled for Thursday, Feb. 8, 2007, at Friendship United Methodist Church in Millsboro.
