Helen M. Wilkins, 88, of Millsboro, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2007, at Green Valley Terrace.
Wilkins worked for Diamond State and Chesapeake Telephone Companies; office of the Attorney General of Delaware; and retired from Megee Plumbing Company in 1981. She was also president of the Rebekah Assembly of Delaware in 1973, and a member of Zoar United Methodist Church.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews, Pat Dorey, Ruth Hudson, Richard Johnson, Bob Moore, Bill Moore, Carol White; friend, Virginia Pepper of Georgetown.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Joshua Richard and Alice Jennie (Cordrey) Moore; husband, Robert J. Wilkins; daughter, Cheryl Jean Wilkins Vanderslice; brothers, Raymond Moore of Lewes, Leroy “Pete” Moore of Wilmington, Alton E. Moore of Millsboro, R. Carlton Moore of Rehoboth Beach; and sisters, Ella M. Johnson and Grace M. Smith, both of Millsboro.
Funeral services were scheduled for Monday, Feb. 19, 2007, at Watson Funeral Home with interment in Union Cemetery in Georgetown.
