ResortQuest moving — across the street

ResortQuest Delaware is opening its third Route 1 office in Bethany Beach in April. Located between Route 1 and Pennsylvania Avenue, across from Edgewater House on Sea Colony’s oceanfront, the new office will be the base for the company’s future growth in the resort market.

“This new, highly visible and easily accessible location enhances ResortQuest’s ability to offer our real estate sales and vacation rental services to Sea Colony and The Quiet Resorts for a very long time,” said Patrick A. Davis, ResortQuest Delaware’s vice president and general manager. “This new location, and the others, allows us to upgrade our already market leading services to owners and guests.”

Offering comprehensive real estate sales, vacation rental and homeowner association management services to Sea Colony and other coastal communities since the early 1970s, ResortQuest will occupy its temporary quarters on the site until the new permanent offices are completed prior to the summer of 2008.

ResortQuest Real Estate participated in more resort real estate sales transactions in Delaware’s Quiet Resorts than any other company, according to 2006 Sussex County Association of Realtors MLS data for single-family home, townhome and condominium sales transactions in the Fenwick/Bethany East of the Canal MLS area.

Company officials said ResortQuest Real Estate’s success is a result of providing leading real estate services at Sea Colony – “The Premier Family Beach & Tennis Resort Community” and the commitment of its first-rate sales team from first meeting to settlement.

ResortQuest also represents more than 600 vacation rental properties, primarily at Sea Colony and Bear Trap. ResortQuest Delaware offers owners and guests online booking, linens for every reservation, in-house housekeeping and maintenance and extended seasonal hours, with a dedicated owner-relations team.

The company’s association management division offers comprehensive property management services from full-service accounting to Web sites to more than 40 homeowners associations from Fenwick Island to Lewes, including 28 of the 31 associations at Sea Colony.

The company currently operates its rental housekeeping and maintenance, plus part of its homeowner association management division, from the Seaside Village office. Several support departments, including accounting, human resource and marketing, will move to its Short Road office in Middlesex this spring.
