Pauline E. Timmons, 88, of Millsboro, passed away Wednesday, May 30, 2007, at Green Valley Terrace in Millsboro. She was a member of Zoar United Methodist Church in Millsboro, as well as the New Life in Christ Church in Palm City, Fla. She had been private secretary to O.A. Newton of Bridgeville and co-owner of Sam’s Restaurant for more than 35 years. She was a devoted and avid Christian and Prayer Warrior and a member of the Presidential Prayer Team.
Timmons was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Helen Dickerson Truitt; son, Charles Timmons; sister, Florence Timmons; and brother, Lester Truitt. She is survived by her husband, Samuel E. Timmons; son, Ronald Timmons of Seattle, Wash.; daughters, Constance Rogers and her husband George of Georgetown, Jeni Coffelt of Millsboro; brothers, John Truitt of Kissimmee, Fla., Warren Truitt of Milford, Bruce Truitt of Seaford; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
