Brad L. Derrickson, 22, of Dagsboro, Del., passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2008. He enjoyed tinkering with electronic gadgets and was an amateur radio operator. His call sign was N3WAU. He also enjoyed cooking and hoped to one day become a professional chef.
Derrickson was preceded in death by his mother, A. Paulette Derrickson; and maternal grandparents, Robert A. and Adrienne Evans. He is survived by his father, M. Lee Derrickson; step-mother, Teresa Derrickson; brother, James H. Raymond IV; step-brother, Michael Merrick; step-sister, Katie Merrick; grandparents, Roland and Ramona Derrickson; uncles, Dr. Dale Derrickson and his wife Karen, Brian Derrickson, Robert C. Evans and his wife Arlene; an aunt, Cindy S. Wimbrow and her husband Howard; cousins, Michael Derrickson, Keith Derrickson, Robert T. Evans, Michelle Short, Derrick Wimbrow; and numerous great-aunts, great-uncles and second cousins.
Funeral services were scheduled for Monday, March 10, 2008, with burial in St. George’s United Methodist Church Cemetery in Clarksville, Del. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to D.M.T.A. Scholarship Fund (line no. 244), c/o Delaware Tech, Owens Campus, P.O.
